I use this script to produce a spec for fetchTarball, which has the bonus of using channel release tarballs and thus having their associated metadata (e.g. a prettier version string)

I also have been thinking on war a lot lately, because there is a built up happening (against the place I happen to be - but it will take a while still). So I keep in mind the one men army I happen to find. It might prove useful in the future. :)
