<disasm> so... got my picar working with raspbian. Next step is to move the nixos sdcard into it. But for that, I need wireless, which I think requires custom compiling the kernel with wireless support, which means, I probly want to setup a binary cache somewhere :) If I run nixops deploy from a non-arm machine, can I tell it to build arm packages on a raspberry pi that's already on the network running nixos?
<disasm> Also going to setup a sunfounder overlay so anyone else that wants to by a picar and use it with nixos can just point at my overlay to get the software to run on it :)
<samueldr> disasm: rpi3 doesn't need a custom kernel, only the firmware to be packaged
<samueldr> (assuming picar means rpi3)
<samueldr> linuxPackages_latest (4.14), unless build failed recently was built and worked
<samueldr> (last tested in october)
<samueldr> (by me)
<disasm> samueldr: ah, so it just needs to compile the firmware, not the kernel, that's better :)
<samueldr> package, it's a blobby or texty file, can't remember, so it should be fast even on-device
