I get better results with DDG these days, and I wish I could say it's because the duck has improved

DDG is weird. Sometimes pretty decent. Sometimes oddly way off base. Sometimes has ZERO results for things that have tens of thousands of results on Google, for topics that aren't even hours-old or anything.

I sorted out how to upgrade the firmware on my dock, which made it much more reliable. and I switched to sway, which has made my hotplugged display work *every time*.
