<samueldr> good, no spam snuck in
<makefu> fadenb: ^
<makefu> :D
<samueldr> oh, right, forgot it's vacation time, didn't want to bother that late

<fadenb> ;)
<fadenb> Not a problem :P
<samueldr> I realized when I wasn't bothered by an highlight after a quick edit
<makefu> :D
<makefu> for me, IRC is an async medium. i read highlights when i think it is the right time to do. This is my spare time nonetheless ;)
<fadenb> In theory it is the same for me, in practice I got used to near instant responses from many people so I try to at least look at highlights
<fadenb> Depending on the contents I ignore them until it is convenient
<samueldr> IRC pushes to my cellphone
<samueldr> and it makes the annoying tray icon blink on my window manager!
<fadenb> I am using matrix bridge for irc. I also use matrix to get notified about outages of some services so I tend to check what highlighted me
<samueldr> a sensible reaction
<fadenb> Hmm, I will put better failing of the bot on my todo list. If it just terminates instead of leaving and doing nothing I could easily restart it
