There are a bunch of drivers in the staging area of the kernel that I am using... One of them is the media decoding via v4l2 on the rk3399. Right now I am building the kernel myself but I wonder if we should just opt in to building the staging (media) modules by default?

Yeah, if it weren't for that section I'd at least try booting Arch on mine tomorrow. (I'm pretty sure it doesn't support DP over USB-C at all, so that's not a Linux thing, but the rest is pretty bad)

But I also don't really use it much anymore, so if you want me to try booting mobile-nixos I'm happy to try things. Just don't have a lot of time until ~mid December.
