Hmm, if one needs to use the full path to $HOME in a home-manager file (or another file), I think the only way to do this is make it an option and perhaps assert at activation time that it matches what the system thinks?

By "or another file", I mean that it doesn't have to be home-managed. Like tmux config or something.

Hey, I'm pretty new to #nix. I'm wondering if there is a way to override the system installed binaries for only some programs (like vim) I don't want to put my nix /bin before /usr/bin in my path since some tools may conflict. Is there a way to get nix to install some select things into another path that I can put in front of /usr/bin?
