<betawaffle> gchristensen: what is recursive nix?
<gchristensen> inside your nix-build sandbox, you can issue a nix-build command which talks to the system's nix-daemon

<cransom> (that wasn't possible before. at least not without some very hardcore hacks and complete disregard for the system)
<cransom> hrm. so i stopped using dnsmasq's `enable-ra`. my v6 seems... stable now. i wonder if something else changed.
<cransom> and i'm not going crazy, i knew there was a command to watch for routing table updates. `ip monitor`
<hexa-> fwiw: can also filter, i.e. ip monitor route
<cransom> i remember using it in another life, but couldn't remember where it came from. i was hunting around route, netstat, ss, forgot how loaded ip was.
<hexa-> ip/ss/bridge is the iproute2 toolkit
<hexa-> it's best in slot these days
