it's getting worse…

hm. Lots of nscds in disk-sleep state.
<sphalerite>
And a journald.
<sphalerite>
so the question is, do I reboot to fix this and hope that it comes back up… or do I just wait and see how high the load will go?

nice, having stopped nscd the load has settled to exactly 178.00
<sphalerite>
I'm guessing that's 178 processes waiting for disk IO that will never complete

<noneucat>
i'm having some trouble cross-compiling stuff from mobile-nixos
<noneucat>
whenever i try to build the pinephone image on my x86_64 machine it seems to try and build the kernel and u-boot under x86_64-linux for some reason
<noneucat>
i recall being able to earlier this year.. is it a configuration issue on my end or did something break subtly?

#105026 (by thefloweringash, 3 weeks ago, open): Native support for Apple Silicon
<samueldr>
Cadey: it could be, but there's not really been much discussions about the M1, #nixos-dev might be a better place to ask since it's almost more Darwin than AArch64
<Cadey>
:+1: thanks
<samueldr>
(I assume more of the darwin-inclined folks will be at #nixos-dev than here)
<samueldr>
and don't be afraid of the -dev monicker, it's more of a channel to coordinate Nix/Nixpkgs/NixOS development, than let's say a dev-only channel
