Oh, great, sometimes-failing tests in harfbuzz. Those are always fun. Well, they passed now, so I won't need to rebuild at least this instance of the derivation …

why do all RK chips default to 1500000baud? I keep having trouble making 1500k work.
<angerman>
best part keeps being that the ATF BL3 keeps sending at 115200.
<LinuxHackerman>
good question. I've often wondered too.

I end up patching that stuff back to 115200; it's really strange...

I understand that 1.5M is faster if you want to transfer files, but it's just odd.
<DigitalKiwi>
gotta go fast

and I have some output from my helios64 with a stock kernel and their uboot (+ a tiny patch).
<thefloweringash>
oh, oops, "fdtfile", not "fdtname"
<thefloweringash>
as I understand it, both uboot and linux have their own fdt database. that fdt file was enough to set up uboot to talk to the serial and storage. the linux one is often a superset to enable all the peripherals

Oh - for the record - packet.net got back to me and explained why I didn't see any of their arm servers (if this information helps anyone)
<red[evilred]>
New accounts only get access to specific datacenters (I assume because they're trying to spread the load or something)
<red[evilred]>
so you let them know you need arm, and they'll add the other datacenters for you

also - hourly rate for c2.large.arm is apparently $1 an hour (32 core, 128G RAM, 480Gb SSD, 20Gbps network)
