gchristensen: introduced these notion of NixOS organisation members so that maintainers get notified on github for reviews, but that concept didnt include giving those people commit rights

it still is unclear to me if nix#3471 is a regression in Nix really, or a bug in older Nix releases, but whatever it actually is, it acts as a regression for users

I *think* it may be a fringe mis-behaviour of older nix releases, but "path '/nix/store/...' is not in the Nix store" to me sounds a whole lot of wrong.

has there been a change in the way the modules system or the documentation generation works so that the manual build doesn't fail on `default = pkgs.xxx` where xxx is something that is unsupported on the system?
