<LambdaDuck> Has anyone tried using a ramdisk for nix builds on a mac? I have run "diskutil erasevolume HFS+ 'ramdisk' $(hdiutil attach -nomount ram://4096000) && chmod o+wt /Volumes/ramdisk" and added services.nix-daemon.tempDir = "/Volumes/ramdisk/"; to my darwin-configuration.nix, but I get error: while setting up the build environment: opening file
<LambdaDuck> '/Volumes/ramdisk/nix-build-alex-exe-alex-3.2.5.drv-0/.sandbox.sb': Permission denied when trying to run it
<LambdaDuck> I solved the problem by creating the ramdisk as root instead of as my own user. (I use the nix daemon)
<LambdaDuck> The next question would be how to automate the creation of the ramdisk. Is there a standard way of doing stuff like that with darwin-nix?
