<duncan> On the subject of alternative shells... I ended up rewriting nix.sh to work in csh since I couldn't for the life of me work out how to source it in a way that tcsh liked. Is there any more 'official' means to make Nix work nicely with tcsh?
<duncan> (I suppose this especially applies to Darwin as it's included with OS X and it was once default...)
<LnL> it's part of nix, you can contribute it there to make it more shell/system independent

<duncan> Well.. it is already a posix shell script. Non-posix shells definitely don't like it.
<duncan> not sure if tcsh can parse posix shell scripts but I understand not
