I know that x86-darwin isn't considered supported, but I was wondering if there was a fix for this error, which cropped up when I tried to install kile, and enlightenment on mojave:

I'm not sure kde things like that would work nicely on darwin, is it supported upstream?

unknown. I'll look into it when I wake up tomorrow. but it seems as though it's something to do with alsa
