<jonge[m]> <evalexpr "jonge: you should be able to add"> i have done this, which makes the home-manager executable available to any user. but my per-user configurations still use home-manager the legacy way with channels etc. i feel like my per-user config could/should be a flake itself, too. are there examples for how that looks like?

<pumpy> jonge[m] to do that did you install home-manager as a system package instead of using the nix-shell <home-manager> -A install?
<jonge[m]> <pumpy "jonge to do that did you install"> i added `home-manager.nixosModules.home-manager` to the `modules` of my sysconfig flake. is that what you asked or is there another step that has to be performed to get it working via the systemconfig?
<pumpy> oh i thought we change something in configuration.nix
<pumpy> i dont know anything about flakes yet jonge[m]
<jonge[m]> ok, thx for looking into it!
<siraben> Why does setting `NNN_PLUG="p:-_less -iR $nnn*;l:-_git log";` in sessionVariables seem to expand?

<pumpy> i keep corrupting my setup somehow. not sure if it's when i change configuration.nix or home.nix but it ends up that home-manager command is no longer found. how would you think to debug that pls?
