<immae> Hey there, I cannot ping @NixOS/nixos-release-managers so here is a backport PR for you: https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/pull/97648 (if someone with enough rights can add the ping that would be nice, thanks :) )

<Mic92> niksnut: worldofpeace spacekookie don't forget the meeting in 10 minutes
<manveru> niksnut: have you had any chance to look at the flake submodule issue yet? i couldn't figure out how to fix it :|

<immae> How should I apply to obtain enough rights to ping @NixOS/nixos-release-managers on github? (applying to be a member of the organization maybe?) I plan to do several fixes in context of ZHF and having to find someone who can ping them for each PR that I do adds a bit of friction to the process...

<ryantm> immae: If you are a maintainer of a package, someone should be able to add you to the maintainers team, and then I'd expect you could.
<gchristensen> it'd be great if someone added a database to https://github.com/nixos/rfc39 so we can start it again
<immae> Ah well I submitted a PR a few hours ago in which I add myself as maintainer :)
<{^_^}> #97649 (by immae, 3 hours ago, open): nagios: fix build
<ryantm> immae: thank you; I'll take a look
<immae> thanks :)
<ryantm> I merged it, now someone with permission to could manually add you to the maintainers team.
<immae> Cool thanks ryantm

<immae> ryantm: any idea who I should/could ping for that?
<ryantm> immae: the maintainers of that team are zimbatm, grahamc, domenkozar, and edolstra
<immae> Thanks, I’ll ask them!

<gchristensen> das_j: can you take a look-see at https://github.com/NixOS/hydra/pull/805?
<{^_^}> hydra#805 (by andir, 32 minutes ago, open): LDAP support continued (with missing packages & tests)
<Mic92> gchristensen: what can it do right now?
<gchristensen> it delegates the user database and roles to LDAP
<Mic92> gchristensen: oh sorry I meant rfc39
<gchristensen> oh, it automatically reconciles the maintainer team with maintainers.nix
<Mic92> I can also have a look at the ldap one. I do ldap occasionally
<gchristensen> but it depended on github's previous behavior of all invites remaining "pending" even if the person declined. now, the invites expire after 7 days and we spam if we run it

<ajs124> Mic92: the functionality and code is more or less the same as before, it just has tests and stuff now.
<das_j> gchristensen: Can I delegate that to ajs124?
<gchristensen> sure
<das_j> also since you most likely want to contact us both at the same time, you can write to #helsinki
<das_j> personal support forum :P
