So I have this gru-bob chromebook, and I'd like to improve the firmware. Unfortunately it looks like I'll need to bisect nixpkgs for it. Not sure the flash will survive that many erase/write cycles, does anyone know of a way to do this sort of thing without reflashing every time? Or will I need to do some soldering?

the SPI flash? AFAIK some numbers you see are extremely low-ball figures, though I'm not positive

a2dp on the rpi4 is disappointing. 😒 Replaced with a USB Bt dongle and works lile a charm

AFAIK the chip's pretty bad at doing both (understabdably) on the pi

from trying both sbc (345 kbit/s) and aptx hd (575 kbit/s) it seems clearly related to the available bandwidth of the radio's uart connection
