LnL: can I disable sandboxing if I reinstall nix on my compuyer to avoid this issue? I'm not exactly very knowledgeable with Nix and I don't think I use the sandbox on my other computers running NixOS. I just enabled it because it was enabled in the default darwin-configuration.nix.

sandboxing is enabled by default on linux, but yeah you can disable it

Oh okay, then I should probably keep it enabled on darwin too if that's recommended.

it's not enabled by default in the basic example tho, but I've been using it for quite some time

Hmm I might have enabled it myself then. My darwin-config is at least half a year old and I haven't touched it much.

I caved in and updated from 10.14 to 11.0 a few days ago because some software I needed only ran on 10.15 and up. That's when my error started showing.
