Hi adisbladis
<rcorrear>
I just made a (wrong) comment in GitHub about emacs-overlay not supporting macOS
<rcorrear>
Sorry for that. I just installed it and it seems to work very well!
<rcorrear>
I had a couple of questions related to how the instructions for installing could be (if needed) adapted to work on macOS
<rcorrear>
Since (AFAIK) there's no /etc/nixos/configuration.nix equivalent in macOS people will most likely be using $HOME/.nixpkgs/config.nix
<rcorrear>
But that file will be replacing the values of nixpkgs.config so it's not gonna work for settings nixpkgs.overlays
<rcorrear>
Am I right so far? Mind you, I'm using nixpkgs for a couple weeks now and it's a bit hard to understand how it all fits
<alexarice[m]>
Ricardo: I have never used macOS but on nixos you can put overlays in $HOME/nixpkgs/overlays.nix (I think this is the correct file) and I believe this should work on non nixos
