<learnday20> hello nixos-emacs expert - I'm trying to do basic customization of emacs org mode. I am in ~/.emacs.d directory, and all i see is session files and elpa folder, no where to add my my customization. Thank you!
<learnday20> i also searched in nixos manual to see any specific steps so far no find

<tilpner> :(
<bqv[m]> learnday20: ok, nobody's answering because that question has no real answer. you customise emacs by writing elisp, which isn't a very nix-y process to begin with, so it's not something you need to use nix to handle unless you're adding packages that you can't (or won't) fetch from within emacs
<tilpner> bqv[m]: They've left. I sent them here, and then they gave up after 3h :(
<neeasade> rip in rip
<bqv[m]> ah, ok
<pie_[bnc]> <domenkozar[m]> vscode is going to ship extension api in next version that allows extensions to modify shell environment and propagate that to all the editor bits
<pie_[bnc]> <domenkozar[m]> quite exciting for nix-shell :)
