<syzygyzer> im looking to upgrade from emacs 26 to 27. ive found https://github.com/nix-community/emacs-overlay but it looks like it pulls from emacs master (ie emacs 28). how can i tweak it to get the emacs-27 branch instead? do i need an overlay for the overlay? lol. i havent used overlays before but ive spent a few hours reading about them so i at least
<syzygyzer> have a notion of what they're for
<cole-h> Does the `emacsUnstable` attribute do what you want? Added in https://github.com/nix-community/emacs-overlay/commit/b3ce5faf6cafa3c504375eebdba15a33777b51b1, it mirrors the latest release (which includes prereleases)
<syzygyzer> yes that looks perfect ty!
