supersandro2000: Re OCaml guy calling r-ryantm PRs spam. He has been doing that forever, but never replies to me when I ask if he wants me to stop doing OCaml PRs.
<ryantm>
So my current assumption is that is just his way of saying a particular PR isn't useful.
<supersandro2000>
lets see how that continues in the future
<supersandro2000>
if I see it to much I do something

Hello. The unbound systemd service is broken due to recent changes from #101218. Here is a quick fix: #106308.
<gchristensen>
turned out to be misleading, a different attribute named "amazonImage" was missing

abathur: how is your progress on packaging up resholved? :P
<gchristensen>
I want to package a thing from AWS and it is a collection of shell scripts ;_;
<abathur>
ruhroh :)
<abathur>
it's been my spare-time focus atm when I'm not triaging something for the installer PR
<abathur>
I've been finishing up the process of sketching out a few probable features on the horizon to figure out where they'll fit in the API
<abathur>
I think I've got that roughly done
<abathur>
so I mainly need to now revise the existing API to fit that, and demo/test/doc changes downstream from that
<abathur>
and then call it 0.1.0
<abathur>
what sort of timeline are you looking at?
<gchristensen>
no specific timeline
<abathur>
ok; hoping to have it in fairly soon in the grand scheme of things but I'll have a better sense once I've spent a little time on the actual Python for the API refactor
<gchristensen>
cool :)
<abathur>
I've been mostly working on the manpage, which feels a bit out-of-order for me, but it's helped me stay focused on the ~API
<abathur>
minus wrangling mdoc
<gchristensen>
ooh nice

<gchristensen>
ahh :D
<abathur>
speaking of, I've got one nagging me a bit, which is roughly: --path or RESHOLVE_PATH= makes a lot of sense for granularly composing dependencies in from Nix, but I was considering making a simpler non-Nix demo and realized RESHOLVE_PATH=/usr/bin or whatever is a pretty blunt instrument
<gchristensen>
oh true
<gchristensen>
that seems fine, though
<abathur>
have any of your uses tried to select system binaries outside of Nix?
<gchristensen>
I...don't think so ....
<abathur>
yeah, not something I'd implement until there's a real FR unless it's just really low-hanging fruit in some other process, just plotting stuff like that into the API
