samueldr: I can't remember the service that we used to refer to before yours for logs right now, but I know that it's now defunct and has no logs at all from any period. I think individuals' logs is the only hope to restore old stuff now, unfortunately.

well, nothing compares to xsltproc + docbook-xsl wrt closure

but if we statically compile something like https://github.com/srid/rib, I would expect it to be comparable to mdbook

That lua filter/graphviz code on our end is super nice

yes, libxslt + docbook-xsl is few MB of C programs and XSLT stylesheets

we also include jing (java) for validation but I believe it should be possible to get comparable error messages from libxml with some elbow grease

but since we are leaving docbook, it does not really make sense to compare with the docbook toolchain
