<flokli> uh, wat?
<grw> :(
<grw> cant even see what the wires are soldered to
<flokli> it's two small copper-ish dots
<flokli> let me see if my crappy camera can capture it
<flokli> looks like I should get an account there and post some of my findings…
<grw> good plan :)
<flokli> grw: see the two small dots? :-) https://flokli.de/IMG_20180524_190046.jpg
<grw> hm, yep
<grw> maybe i will try this later
<grw> have you measured the output? wonder if it needs enabling or
<flokli> 1.8v
<flokli> against gnd
<flokli> need to bake together a levelshifter ;)
<grw> i read somewhere else max voltage for uart on this soc is 3.8v or something, you dont think 3.3v would work?
<Dezgeg> I wouldn't try
<Dezgeg> well, for read-only operation it will probably work
<grw> could be an expensive experiment i suppose

<gchristensen> hey y'all
<gchristensen> a few things
<gchristensen> 1. I'm going to be taking down the host for a bit to do some testing
<gchristensen> 2. I'm working on making the deployment automatic and weekly
<gchristensen> 3. everything going okay 'round these parts? I've had to step away my off-work-hours involvement due to hand problems :(
<sphalerite> 1. ack 2. awesome 3. :(

<flokli> grw: let's continue in #gemini-pda, unsure if we should spam here. I do get lk output. Kernel sets printk.disable_uart=1, so nothing after that. Let's see if I can somehow interrupt and change this.
<samueldr> flokli: grw maybe give updates when stuff progresses :)
<samueldr> gchristensen: other than the disk full issue, wasn't obvious you were off due to hand issues, which means stuff works great!
