<Robbiedobbie> So I tried booting it again (With a fresh image on the sd card so that the tryout with the rpi 0 could not interfere...), again no output (as expected), but I led it sit a few minutes before pulling the plug
<Robbiedobbie> I checked and it has indeed a /var/log/journal, so the kernel seems to be booting in the background anyway
<Robbiedobbie> The log can be found here: https://pastebin.com/SMnqciSX
<Robbiedobbie> I managed to temporarily fix the kernel booting by adding the following to config.txt (Enabling the v4c overlay)
<Robbiedobbie> gpu_mem=16
<Robbiedobbie> dtoverlay=vc4-kms-v3d
<Robbiedobbie> avoid_warnings=2y
<Robbiedobbie> *avoid_warnings=2
<Robbiedobbie> I also added a kernel argument cma=128M@64M
<Robbiedobbie> It now outputs to display

<Robbiedobbie> The next step is getting the wifi driver working, since it now only has the loopback interface

<Dezgeg> interesting that the legacy KMS failed to work
<Dezgeg> but hmm, it tried to load vc4-drm by default anyway
