martyet-o: can you elaborate on "pretalx is a nogo"? I can't see what would be wrong with it. The charges they ask for?
<flokli>
I got an email from OpenCollective, they have fiscal hosts used to handle ticket sales via Eventbrite, so setting up Stripe to send money over there should be possible (however, they'd do the crediting manually, once per month or so) - so we could use them as a fiscal host, too - it would have some fees of course
<flokli>
martyet-o: sure we could host all these services on our own - I guess the goal was to go with a managed service, as nobody wants to host these services himself?

andi-: yeah, charges and im still sure this model of making conference (with tool which costs some fix payment) is not good at all
<martyet-o>
flokli good we got news from opencollective! just.. do they have some basement here in Czech? To not make this through foreign company
<martyet-o>
flokli: im able to host it on vpsFree infrastructure :)
<flokli>
martyet-o: I'll tell pretalx it's too pricey and we might host it ourselves. Cool this might work on vpsfree, I'm not really Keen on maintaining more infrastructure myself ;-)
<flokli>
They suggested using "Open Collective Europe", not sure where they'll based
<flokli>
But that'll be the fiscal host then, we would need to set one up ourselves
<flokli>
So this institution will pay the things, and will collect the money
