👋 in the midst of migrating to home-manager; does anybody have a working setup for gmails groups/channels for mbsync/neomutt i could have a look at? (thinking about gmail's "[Gmail]/Sent Mail" etc). can't seem to replicate my mbsyncrc and neomuttrc in home-manager. thanks in advance!

Is there some function in `home-manager` to manage `.ghci` file?
<eyJhb>
Manage how?
<rajivr>
I want to be able to write `$HOME/.ghci` file. Right now it seems like we can only write files in XDG data and config directories.
<dutchie>
home.file.".ghci".text = ...
<dutchie>
or .source

Thanks dutchie eyJhb . I should have paid more attention to reading the documentation! :-)

PSA: The company behind Brave is pretty shitty.
<dash>
what'd they do
<dash>
pumpy: privacy and the web aren't compatible probably
<__monty__>
Look into the way's they've tried to make money. Things like replacing ads on webpages with theirs. Fine on sites you don't care about but if you adblock everything but the few sites you want to support...
<dash>
__monty__: i use brave and i turned ads off entirely
<__monty__>
Why not Firefox btw? It's the least worst choice afaict.
<dash>
is that bad?
<__monty__>
dash: They also had some cryptomining stuff. So maybe check that that's not happening on your box.
<dash>
when did they add that?
<__monty__>
It's not recent.
<__monty__>
Talk to joepie91 if you want to know more.
<dash>
brave is using 3% cpu here, pretty efficient crypto mining i guess
<dash>
i used firefox until this year, chrome and friends are more compatible and comparable in perfomance or faster
<dash>
mozilla doesn't seem particularly interested in improving firefox significantly

pumpy: On your original question, you're going to have to do your own research about which browser you want to use. But, also, you probably don't need home-manager specifically to help you set up your browser.
