<superherointj> On following the manual, used nixfmt, it made a mess out of my module. Are you sure I should be using this? It has replaced "\n\n" with '' '' in a horrible manner.
<superherointj> Tried nixpkgs-fmt, much better.
<superherointj> Would be nice if nixpkgs-fmt was decided as default method for formating.

<superherointj> pie_, Hello. Rycee gave me a solution to replacing the file issue. To use { force = true; } Maybe this is what you needed too.
<superherointj> pie_, It was piegames I meant.
<superherointj> DigitalKiwi, I'm attempting to push a PR but it is failing because of formatting. it says: "./format -c". How do I run this?
<superherointj> I guess nixpkgs-fmt is not accepted then.
<DigitalKiwi> superherointj: nixpkgs-fmt is not idempotent :(
<superherointj> The sad part is nixfmt will totally messed up the file for reading.
<superherointj> *mess
<DigitalKiwi> did you look at that git repo
<superherointj> Which one?
<DigitalKiwi> Kiwi/lol-nix-formatter
<superherointj> No.
<DigitalKiwi> it's a laugh
<superherointj> I do not understand it.
<superherointj> The title is a joke, is it?
<DigitalKiwi> i accidentally found a file that nixpkgs-fmt will never stop formatting and every time it does it makes it worse
<DigitalKiwi> and then i found hundreds of them in nixpkgs
<superherointj> What about nixfmt?
<DigitalKiwi> fixes them

<superherointj> I'll use nixfmt. But it makes things really messy.
<DigitalKiwi> example?
<superherointj> hexchat.nix, Line 200
<superherointj> Line 205.
<superherointj> Well, nevermind. nixfmt won. :)

<superherointj> What is the change?
<superherointj> Nevermind, did a diff. But not sure if that helps much.
