<ldlework>
why doesn't this prevent sabaki-config from being defined?
<ldlework>
The option `home.activation.sabaki-config.data' is used but not defined.

Does the emacs desktop icon work on non-nixos distros for anyone? I'm having trouble getting the desktop entry recognized on fedora

mjlbach: did you enable bash support too?
<aterius>
Damien Cassou: No, what do you mean? Sorry
<DamienCassou>
`programs.bash.enable`
<DamienCassou>
you might have to enable that, logout and log back in for the new desktop entries to start being detected. I'm just shooting in the dark here, I have no clue. It is possible that the .desktop file is in a non-standard directory that enabling bash would activate
<aterius>
Can't hurt to try :)
<aterius>
No dice unfortunately
<DamienCassou>
this should generate `~/.bashrc`, `~/.bash_profile` and `~/.profile` files
<aterius>
Yep, it did. Still the icon isn’t showing up in gnome shell
<aterius>
The desktop entry is made
<DamienCassou>
by "gnome shell" are you talking about the menu listing all the installed applications with a search bar?
<aterius>
Yes
