<gchristensen>
so much googling around to figure that little thing out :P
<makefu>
gchristensen: this "trust" worked for me only for /some/ devices and i have no idea why (one bluetooth speaker especially).
<gchristensen>
interesting
<gchristensen>
so I was watching udev logs, my headphones would try to connect, fail, connect, fail -- as soon as I turned them on
<gchristensen>
and the failure is because I hadn't trusted the headphones
<makefu>
for my bluetooth headphones trusting also works well. i am using blueman-applet for managing my devices
<samueldr>
I'll need to check if the trust bit will work
<samueldr>
I know the bluetooth headset tries to connect
<gchristensen>
one awesome stackexchange post suggested I make an init server which just tries to connect every 1s
<gchristensen>
(while sleep 1; do ...)
<samueldr>
errr, not sure I follow, and if I follow not sure I like the idea
<samueldr>
or awesome sarcastically
<gchristensen>
ah
<gchristensen>
I mean literally I was in awe
<gchristensen>
(to put it another way which is also confusing) it was an incredible (to use the "implausible, not believable " definition of incredible)
<samueldr>
though, I'm 99% sure I did trust using the GUI
<samueldr>
thought there would be something else to do
<samueldr>
yeah, I just wasn't sure if you were in awe or found it wicked cool
<gchristensen>
aye :)
<pie_>
you were incredulous, disbelieving
<pie_>
:p
