<makefu> so much love for ZFS
<fadenb> At my current customer we just spent a few days working on a reduntant ZFS based setup on UEFI machines
<fadenb> Need to polish internal documentation and then will put it into the wiki
<fadenb> (Had the need for a machine that survives dying disks and can still boot for a very remote location)
<makefu> cool thing

<fadenb> whats that?
<fadenb> Is Anton here?
<makefu> maybe some automatic user addon stuff? wikimonkey seems to be an alternative editor
<fadenb> At first I thought it was something malicious as i read it as wikiMONEY :p
<fadenb> First thought was browser based crypto currency mining ;)
<makefu> haha yeah i thought the same at first

<mthst> hello. i feel like the Raspberry Pi 2 -> NixOS on ARM redirect should be replaced with Raspberry Pi -> NixOS on ARM/Raspberry Pi. what do you think?
<makefu> mthst: ah i see what you mean, let me fix this
<nixoswikibot> Raspberry Pi 2 https://nixos.wiki/index.php?diff=3184&oldid=829&rcid=3250 * Makefu * (+13) Redirected page to on ARM/Raspberry Pi
<mthst> makefu: what about the '2'?
<nixoswikibot> Special:Log/move move * Makefu * moved Raspberry Pi 2 to Raspberry Pi
<makefu> that should do it
<mthst> \o/ thanks
<nixoswikibot> Special:Log/delete delete * Makefu * deleted "Raspberry Pi 2": content was: "#REDIRECT Raspberry Pi", and the only contributor was "Makefu" (talk)
<makefu> only a move is not enough it seems :)
<makefu> mediawiki tries really hard to avoid broken links
<makefu> i checked google and the most backlings go to the correct page
<makefu> so i guess it is fine :)
<mthst> yes, i think it's less confusing this way
<nixoswikibot> Raspberry Pi 2 N https://nixos.wiki/index.php?oldid=3187&rcid=3253 * Samueldr * (+40) Because the page is deleted from after a move :/
<makefu> samueldr: ? you fixed the backlink?
<samueldr> yeah, Raspberry Pi 2 was left as a deleted page apparently
<samueldr> and google did index the Raspberry Pi 2 page, so I guess there are links to it?
<makefu> i checked and there very few backlinks, so my reasoning was to remove it in favor of having a single entry point
<makefu> but that is fine of course
<samueldr> they're HTTP redirect, they will be eventually coalesced into one entry in most search engines
<samueldr> and it makes sure existing links to the wiki keeps working, though I'm not sure there really were links pointing to that page :/
<samueldr> in case of doubt, I prefer always redirecting when the contents is available
<mthst> is it possible to hide pages from the search dropdown suggestions?
<makefu> okay, good to know
orivej has joined #nixos-wiki
<samueldr> hmm, speaking of, pages with slashes don't show up in the dropdown :/
<makefu> yep, i saw the same
