<asymmetric> is anyone running nixos on a consumer router?
<asymmetric> i have a tp-link wdr4300 lying around i'd like to install nixos on
<flokli> asymmetric: I assume you don't have enough diskspcace on that box
<flokli> most people here are running it on something with a bigger s(s)d inside
<makefu> asymmetric: for embedded devices there are at least two projects which aim to replace "openwrt" and similar OSes with something built by nix: https://github.com/cleverca22/not-os and https://github.com/telent/nixwrt . there are probably more out there
<asymmetric> makefu: thx, i was aware of them thanks to https://nixos.wiki/wiki/Workgroup:Router
<makefu> okay cool :)
<flokli> there's also people working on reducing the runtime closure of nixos - still, it probably will never fit on devices with 16MB storage ;-)
