<antifuchs> so. hm. I'm running into an issue with the `patches` that the emacs-overlay defines: If you use the emacs-overlay to install a git/native-comp emacs, you can't patch that emacs using patches in the nixpkgs-provided derivation?
<antifuchs> so I guess to get native-comp working for darwin, we need two different sets of changes, one for nixpkgs, the other for emacs-overlay... or I have to find a way to get my patch applied via the nixpkgs derivation
<antifuchs> or is there an un-overridable patch thing I could do? apply anything in prePatch / postPatch phases?
<antifuchs> ...I guess this will be moot once my copyright assignment is in place & my patch gets accepted upstream
