<thefloweringash>
samueldr: an lg-hammerhead / Nexus 5. quite old at this point (~2013), but I think it has mailine support so it should be an easy port
<samueldr>
armv7l, though you're one of the few ones who that doesn't affect much :)
<samueldr>
you're likely to have the existing knowledge and assets to test and fixup the armv7l issues
<thefloweringash>
but I've also never had an android, so I've got a lot of catch up to do with the tooling there
<samueldr>
you have it pretty easy with most of the work done
<samueldr>
postmarketOS and existing asus-flo work means android-specifics are known
<samueldr>
last time I tried, a couple months ago, before glibc and bootstrap issues, armv7l didn't work for me, but I literally stopped looking when I saw it just didn't work
<samueldr>
I wanted to circle back later when cross is working again
<thefloweringash>
I think those two are about to swap positions, where armv7l bootstrap is known to need an update but cross is (mostly?) fixed in master
<samueldr>
something like that I guess

thefloweringash: i have an lg nexus 5 too
<samueldr>
I had an LG Nexus 4, but it decided it wanted to serve as a pocket warmer, one day where the outside temperature was ~35°C
<samueldr>
it never turned back on once I turned it off, even with a new battery

to be clear, ~35° was the air temperature, the phone was remarkably hotter, it wasn't comfortable to keep in my pocket
