samueldr, cross-system/configuration.nix pulls in "minimal", "installation-device", and "sd-image". A comment says it is GUI-less, yet when I build it, I see Firefox go by. I can't figure out where this is being pulled in.

Well, my hope is to create a minimal cross-compiled image, just enough to do a native rebuild.
