<pie_> It hit me that nixos works so well because both "constructors" and "destructors" for derivations are simple: you construct a derivation from a clean slate, and destructors are just deleting things, you dont need to figure out how to deconfigure all kinds of combinations of things running on the system. and then this does seem to break down a bit when you *do* have de/reconfiguration complexity when rebuild switch-ing and restarting services (im
