I'm new to nixos and home-manager and I'm trying to get a relatively setup working with fish. However, when I log out and log in, home-manager is no longer on the path

the installation instructions, number 4 on the home-manager repo says: "If you do not plan on having Home Manager manage your shell configuration then you must source the" so I've added programs.fish.enable = true to my home config, when I log out and log back in it defaults back to bash

Have you set your user shell in your system config?

I have users.users.user_name.shell = pkgs.fish; in my system config and `programs.home-manager.enable` in home.nix
