I'm getting tar file not found errors when trying to `home-manager switch`
<
sauyon>
(I think for the home manager master tar)
<
sauyon>
any ideas why that might be? should I just manually download the tar to the place it's looking?
<
srk>
sauyon: what's your current approach?
<
srk>
or use pkgs.fetchFromGitHub which will download a tarball for specified revision for you
<
srk>
or even clone the repo and use that
<
sauyon>
I'm using channels
<
sauyon>
`nix-channel --update` gives a similar error
<
srk>
maybe try re-adding the channel or check where it is pointing?
<
srk>
e.g. if you have one tracking older release it might not be available anymore
<
srk>
hm, but according to github older version are all there

FWIW going to the link that it says it's downloading the tar from works

I'm going to ask in #nixos, seems like a nix bug.
