I know home manager has particular settings that you can set for firefox extentions, but I don't know if they would work in the configuration.nix

the manual recommends `xdg.configFile."nixpkgs/overlays.nix".source = ../overlays.nix; nixpkgs.overlays = import ../overlays.nix;` but that's not working for me because my overlays.nix imports some relative paths

energizer: you can also use <nixpkgs-overlays> via NIX_PATH and use it from anywhere I think
