<matthuszagh> hello! Is there a way to get non-emacs related packages wrapped up with Emacs (i.e. only available when using Emacs)? For instance, I'd like the glibcInfo package available when using Emacs. I tried using extraPackages in the same way I add Emacs packages, but haven't had any success.
matthuszagh has left #home-manager ["ERC (IRC client for Emacs 27.0.50)"]
<alexarice[m]> matthuszagh: You could use makewrapper
<alexarice[m]> and add the things you want to the path for emacs

<rycee> boxscape: The best way to accomplish such links is to create an activation block and perform the linking yourself using `ln -s`.
<rycee> Something like `home.activation.linkMyStuff = dag.entryAfter ["writeBoundary"] "ln -s …";`
<boxscape> rycee, okay, thank you
<rycee> boxscape: Np. `dag` in the above is actually `config.lib.dag`.
<boxscape> okay
