i feel like this is a bad idea or wont work
<
veleiro>
i built the deployment on an arm64 and am deploying it to x86
<
veleiro>
but i didnt have another option, and i thought it would let me know if it
<
veleiro>
doesnt work
<
infinisil>
veleiro: It should work theoretically, I believe lovesegfault is cross-compiling their system as well with nixus
<
veleiro>
upon copying secrets it looks like rsync is used
<
veleiro>
"rsync: cannot execute binary file"

veleiro: Ah that doesn't sound good. So you're deploying
*from* arm64 to x86?
cole-h has joined #nixus
<
veleiro>
infinisil: yes, at least i was trying it
<
veleiro>
i dont have another x86 system available to work from at the moment
<
veleiro>
i'm not sure what's wrong with my ssh key setup.. should be good
<
veleiro>
after the deploy fails i have to run nixos-rebuild switch on the machine
<
veleiro>
to get the ssh keys from users.users.root.authorizedkeys to be in /etc/ssh/auth..
