Hi everyone. So I jsut set up the overlay and cachix but I was wondering how can I check if something is available on cachix or whether my build process is hitting cachix? because it seems I'm currently compiling emacs from scratch

Also I was wondering if there's any home-manager users here that do their emacs setup there. I haven't tinkered with overlays yet and was wondering if anyone has an example config at hand they would share

graf_blutwurst: I have a single-user machine so I don't use home manager and I don't write overlays. I import overlays written by others if I have to, and otherwise I just use overrideAttrs.

I see "downloading from cache.nixos.org" in my build. I imagine in your build you should see the same with your cache url.

well it's good to know already that there should be something in the output telling me that cachix gets hit. thanks! so far i can't see that. I'll do some more digging
