16:00 <antifuchs> my understanding is that home-manager takes a `pkgs` argument, so you might be able to adjust the nixpkgs that it takes for that argument with the overlay

16:01 <antifuchs> (this should be pretty straightforward in the flake configuration, but I haven't tried it in any constellation yet)

20:49 <aterius> If you don't know how to do that you can search around on the discourse to find some examples, my config uses flakes for it

20:51 <aterius> I also provide a fork of emacs-overlay with builds for macos (and linux) where nixpkgs is bundled, so you always hit the cache
