<juboba>
I have emacs installed system-wide (in `configuration.nix`).

Hmmm. I install `pkgs.emacsPackagesNg.emacsql-sqlite3`.

can I just use that? I mean, replace emacsPackages with emacsPackagesNg?
<adisbladis>
emacsPackagesNg is just an alias to emacsPackages nowadays
<adisbladis>
It's exactly the same package
<benny>
juboba: your line is almost exactly what I use, I'm on nixos channel 20.09 and it works for me: (emacsWithPackages (epkgs: (with epkgs; [ emacsql-sqlite vterm ])))
<juboba>
weird, I'm on 20.09 also
<juboba>
how can I check that the result has access to sqlite?
<juboba>
I also have sqlite in my HomeManager config, maybe that's not necessary, right?

ok, so I just checked the emacs binary and sqlite *is* in the load path. There must be something that *DOOM* Emacs is doing to reset the load-path... :(
<juboba>
I will manually set the path to the nixos store. That should work.
