<LnL>
oh, the gitlab module runs the migrations for you

Sorry, I'm a bit out of the loop. But did 17.09 get officially released?
<rycee>
I see "17.09 is tagged, still waiting on hydra though" above but haven't seen any mention on the mailing list or https://nixos.org/ (or /r/NixOS/). So I'm a bit uncertain…
<LnL>
yes, but I think hydra got stuck so I don't know if all of the builds are finished yet
<rycee>
Ah, OK. Hope it's nothing too serious. Thanks for the update :-)
<gchristensen>
I think nothing too serious, just a minor issue coinciding with a weekend where people with abilities aren't so around to help :)
<LnL>
I just looked at my system and it doesn't have the beta label anymore
<fadenb>
I believe only the announcement and update of the website is missing.

Mic92: it's the dynamic resolution changer service. Not sure why it runs globally, I would think user X11 service makes more sense.
<Mic92>
disasm: you mean `prlcc`?
<Mic92>
disasm: do you know what `prldhd` does?
<disasm>
I don't...
<Mic92>
disasm: are you using os x or parallels?
<disasm>
Mic92: I can reboot and try it out, I think my license is still good, haven't used it in almost a year though
<Mic92>
disasm: would be cool, if you can test this pr some time.

I'm hitting the /run/user/501 does not exist again, is there some way to fix that for a headless machine?
<fpletz>
rycee: the builds have finished, we will update the webpage today and send the announcement after that
<fpletz>
gchristensen: yeah, had other things to do yesterday :>
<rycee>
fpletz: Thanks! And thanks for the work on the release! :-)
<mguex>
fpletz: does that mean that we need to do another release party? <:-)
<disasm>
Mic92: haha, so before I made the jump from osx -> nixos 6 months ago, I had a parallels VM spun up testing a previous PR for upgrading parallels so I'm half way there already :)
<fpletz>
hum, fine for me… just another hydra false negative o/
<fpletz>
restart all the builds :)
<fadenb>
globin: I took a look at the oath pam test. Seems like hotp is broken for some time now but totp is still working.
<fadenb>
Bisecting the issue failed for me due to some changes on the tests themselves
<niksnut>
fpletz: done
<fpletz>
niksnut: thanks :)
<fpletz>
fadenb: maybe we should mark is as broken with an assertion for now?
<fpletz>
oh, there's also an oathAuth option in security.pam.service in addition to security.pam.oath.enable
<fadenb>
Yep, that is working fine as long as the oath users file is configured for totp
<fpletz>
ah, now I get it
<fpletz>
that's unfortunate o/
<LnL>
fpletz: go build succeeded here
<fadenb>
I was thinking about some modifications to security.pam.oath anyway. Will take on this issue but might take me a few weeks
<fpletz>
ok, we should add that to the release notes. thanks for testing!
<fpletz>
LnL: also looks fine on hydra
<gchristensen>
I'm really getting on board with the "google groups is annoying" thing :(

niksnut: it seems channel updates for 17.09 are broken or am I missing something? the last released evluation is 1397091 but shouldn't 1398412 have been released? https://hydra.nixos.org/jobset/nixos/release-17.09
