grw: order number is ~3200 btw. lets hope some of the dust settles until I receive mine ;-)

How's that for a fun failure mode. Rust's doc tests fail due to memory exhaustion on an ARM box with 64GB RAM.
<sphalerite>
that is, 32-bit Rust
<sphalerite>
running with -j1 rather than -j64 works.
<sphalerite>
So I'm guessing it's exhausting the 32-bit address space when trying to run too many in parallel :(

flokli: 2770 here- guess we'll be in same batch
<grw>
probably for the best not to get first hw revision though
<grw>

Dezgeg: can you notify/ping me once sopine u-boot is available on your server?
<samueldr>
and has there been a discussion about providing u-boot builds for AArch64 at a more upstream location?
<Dezgeg>
I don't think I upload aarch64 stuff there actually, IIRC nothing so far has needed it (RPi3 files are just always included in the filesystem)
<Dezgeg>
so I guess some upstream location would be good
<samueldr>
for now, the article links to the URL you provided in the comment, I'm assuming this isn't permanent though
<samueldr>
oh, and thanks again :)
<Dezgeg>
I don't think I actually ever delete any files that end up in public_html, so I guess it isn't disappearing any time soon
