<fuzzy-id> just installed nixos on my raspberry pi 3, really nice!
<fuzzy-id> am i supposed to stay on unstable or will there be a binary cache for aarch64 on 18.03?
<makefu> fuzzy-id: right now dezgeg only builds unstable (assuming you took the sdcard image from there) but the "official" binary cache also builds the stable channel. so you should be able to switch between stable and unstable
<fuzzy-id> so, is the wiki outdated:
<fuzzy-id> “he official NixOS Hydra builds a full set of binaries (available on https://cache.nixos.org) for the AArch64 architecture on the nixpkgs-unstable channel.”
<fuzzy-id> … or rather incomplete. This sounds like only unstable has binary caches.
<fuzzy-id> ah, i think i just found it: https://hydra.nixos.org/jobset/nixos/release-18.03-aarch64
<fuzzy-id> so from 18.03 there is going to be an official stable binary cache
<makefu> fuzzy-id: i've added this info to the wiki
<fuzzy-id> makefu: there is one further section in Binary Cache -> AArch64 where this is stated
<makefu> fuzzy-id: i've left this for you :D
<fuzzy-id> didn't know that it's possible to log in via github…
<makefu> :D
<makefu> i've changed this now, next time it is your turn
