I’m thinking server so I can manage it identically from my laptop or desktop over ssh, I guess?

hpfr[m]: if you deploy via your desktop you could export/import the state via nixops. However, since nixops builds on the host system using it from a server might be beneficial (due to faster connection speeds etc)

niso: I could also export/import if I deployed via the server, right? You’re just pointing that out to show that I wouldn’t need to deploy from server to switch between managing from my laptop or desktop?

hpfr[m]: yes

Ok, I’ll do the server then. Thanks for the confirmation
