<zimbatm>
martyet-o: back on my feet, was sick yesterday
<zimbatm>
martyet-o: what do you think of using 2019.nixcon.org ? that way each year can be a different github repository
<zimbatm>
then have a redirect from nixcon.org -> current year
<zimbatm>
did you finish the financial calculations yet?
<martyet-o>
yeah, 2019.nixcon.org is fine!
<martyet-o>
well, i have done calculations, we need to get 9000 EUR to make NixCon happen
<martyet-o>
but if we will get more, then it will be fine - we can a) fund with this nixos foundation b) give some money (who will want) back to visitors, because with bigger money buffer there will be cheaper and cheaper price for entry :
<zimbatm>
is the entry price stll 500 EUR per person?
<andi->
as in the venue wants that or every ticket will be at least 500 EUR? o.O
<martyet-o>
zimbatm for comparison.. how expensive was ticket last year in London?
<martyet-o>
Im also afraid of 500 EUR price per entry ticket..
<martyet-o>
andi- meh, where u took 500 EUR
<andi->
martyet-o: the line above my line..
<martyet-o>
oh, sorry
<martyet-o>
we were talking about 500 EUR per person, but after recalculation, its lower - 380 EUR per whole conference (all 3 days). In case you will go just for one or two days, one day will cost 130 EUR
<martyet-o>
including food whole day, lunch and hotel
<andi->
ahh, hotel costs included.. that makes a lot more sense now :)
<martyet-o>
ah, that was weird for you :-)
<zimbatm>
martyet-o: the ticket was 50 GBP per day if I remember correctly, and people had to get their own accomodation which costs around 100 GBP per night in London
<zimbatm>
so 173 EUR / day at today's exchange rate
