22:54 <jamesbucher> Hello fellow home-manager users. Does anyone know what it takes to get the activation package from home-manager when using it in flakes mode? I like being able to pin nixpkgs as an input but using it as a NixOS module makes is so I have to run as root since the config is at the system level. I was hoping to be able to run it on boxes without

I found: https://www.reddit.com/r/NixOS/comments/iogoox/homemanager_with_flakes_on_non_nixos_system/ discussing instantiating the module and grabbing the activation package. However, I was unable to get it working. I can see that the flake appears to call:

I am assuming that those are builtin arguments for a NixOS module but I am unsure how to inspect/debug so I can see what needs to be passed to them.
