If I have home-manager master channel and I set packages = with pkgs; [ ... ];, then those packages should come from my local nixos-unstable channel, right?
<turion>
I don't understand why a recent change that is already on nixos-unstable doesn't get picked up

anyone here using HM to launch manage their X session with xmonad? I'm trying to revive my old xmonad config and I'm hitting one major issue namely xmonad not being able to restart itself which is really annoying
<pbogdan>
(I'm not actually sure if it's HM specific but any help / tips would be appreciated)

Has anyone else noticed that the starting workspace on sway depends on the order of bindsyms? Since home-manager generates the bindsyms in a somewhat alphabetical order, my starting workspace is 10, when it should be 1 (since it's bound to $mod+0)
